For the restoration of old pension, 190 MLAs of the state wrote a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in support of the restoration of old pension, justifying the demand of teacher-teacher cadre. Provincial spokesperson of Azad Teacher Teachers Association Rakesh Tiwari said that for the restoration of old pension, a memorandum was submitted by the Azad Teacher Teachers Association to 230 MLAs of Madhya Pradesh, demanding to write a letter of support to the Chief Minister, supporting which 190 MLAs of the ruling party and opposition supported it. A letter has been written to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan demanding restoration of old pension. On behalf of the ruling party, Niwari MLA Anil Jain, Tikamgarh MLA Rakesh Giri Goswami, Sulochana Rawat, Prabhuram Chaudhary, Rajendra Pandey Javra, Paras Jain Ujjain, Tulsiram Silavat, Ramkhelawan Patel, Mahesh Rai, Subedar Singh along with former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, Many MLAs including Laxman Singh, CP Sharma, Tarun Bhanot, Alok Chaturvedi, Hukum Singh Karada, Rakesh Mavai, Priyavrat Singh have written to the Chief Minister demanding restoration of old pension. Provincial spokesperson Rakesh Tiwari said that like the restoration of old pension done by other state governments, the Madhya Pradesh government should also restore the old pension teacher teacher cadre and employees closed since 2004. If the old pension is not restored by the government in the budget session, then the Aad Teacher Teacher Association is compelled to hold an indefinite dharna and fast unto death in Bhopal from April 14.
