This seat is in the news due to the BJP making the strong tribal leader Mahendrajit Singh Malviya, who left the Congress and joining the BJP, a candidate and the ongoing developments regarding Congress’s alliance with the Bharat Adivasi Party. Now after the time for withdrawal of candidates’ names has passed, another interesting fact has come to light. Due to this also this seat is making headlines.
There are total eight candidates in the fray
Actually, eight candidates are in the fray for Banswara-Dungarpur Lok Sabha seat. In this, candidates are Mahendrajit Singh Malviya from BJP, Arvind Damor from Congress, Rajkumar Rot from Bharat Adivasi Party, Shankar Bamania from Indian People Green Party and Dilip Kumar Meena from Bahujan Samajwadi Party. Three independent candidates are also in the electoral fray. The name of one of them is Banshilal and the names of the remaining candidates are Rajkumar.
Father candidate said, it is not a coincidence but a conspiracy
In such a situation, three candidates are contesting on this seat with the same name ‘Rajkumar’. Regarding this matter, Bharat Adivasi Party candidate Rajkumar has called it not a coincidence but a conspiracy. Rajkumar Rot alleged that to confuse the voters in the elections, his rival candidate has fielded an independent candidate named Rajkumar.
Rot accused of influencing vote bank
Not only this, the election symbols of these independent princes have also been deliberately chosen to be similar to the election symbol of Bharat Adivasi Party so that the father’s vote bank can be influenced. Bharat Adivasi Party candidate Rajkumar said that this conspiracy of the rival candidate is going to prove unsuccessful.
