New Delhi. The cricket teams of Pakistan and New Zealand will clash in a 5-match T20 series from April 18. Both the teams have announced their squads for this series. Pakistan has given a chance to Usman Khan in the 17-member team, who has been banned for 5 years by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). The ECB has banned Usman, accusing him of cheating. After being rejected from Pakistan, he had reached UAE from where opportunities were being created for his international debut but Usman has decided to play for Pakistan by deceiving this foreign board. PCB has included him in the national team for the first time.
28 year old batsman Usman Khan had won a lot of applause by scoring two consecutive centuries in the Pakistan Super League. He also became the player to score the fastest century in PSL. The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) banned him for five years after he was found to be violating his obligations. The ECB has accused Usman of misrepresenting his intentions. Usman had been busy playing for Pakistan for some time and he succeeded in his plan. He also recently participated in the camp organized by PCB at the Army Camp in Kakul.

Usman Khan played for Multan Sultan in PSL
Usman Khan has UAE citizenship. He was trying to play for UAE and ECB had also helped him a lot. He also played in Abu Dhabi T10 League and ILT20 League. Usman played as a foreign player in PSL. He participated in PSL for Multan Sultan and scored 430 runs in 11 matches. Seeing Usman’s excellent performance, PCB offered him to play for Pakistan and he accepted it laughingly.

28-year-old right-handed batsman Usman Khan has scored 39 runs in 2 first class matches while Usman has 53 runs in one List A match. Usman has 1207 runs in his name in 36 T20 matches. During this period, he has scored 4 centuries and 4 half-centuries while his highest personal score has been 120 runs. Usman has played his debut in first class cricket for Pakistan. PCB will prepare Usman for the upcoming T20 World Cup by giving him a chance in the T20 series against New Zealand. The T20 World Cup will be held in West Indies and America from June 2.
