Imad Wasim said that he is happy to announce the availability of Pakistan cricket in the T20I format till the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He told ESPNcricinfo that his availability is not limited beyond the T20 World Cup starting on June 1 and he is not expected to sign a central contract.

Imad Wasim has been performing well with the ball and bat for some time now and he has been successful in impressing everyone with his performance. He performed brilliantly in Pakistan Super League 2024. In the final match against Multan Sultans, he took 5 wickets and also scored 19 runs. He played an important role in Islamabad United winning the title. Imad Wasim last played for the Pakistani team a year ago.

The T20 World Cup is to be held in West Indies and Imad Wasim has performed well in the Caribbean Premier League. His record in CPL in the last few years has been excellent. He has taken 61 wickets at an average of 18.88 and economy rate of 6.20. Imad has played 66 T20 matches for Pakistan so far, in which he has scored 486 runs at a strike rate of 131.70 and taken 65 wickets at an economy of 6.26. But there has been no statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board about whether Imad’s availability will lead to any change in his contract status or not.
