Makhana and paste will be prepared like this
To make Matar Makhana, boil peas. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the makhana in it for some time. Then take them out and separate them. Add ghee again in the pan and then fry onion, green chilli and tomato in it. Then add cashew nuts in it also. After roasting well, prepare a paste of these things.

Heat mustard oil in a pan and add bay leaves, black cardamom, cinnamon, mace, cloves, cumin, coriander powder and red chilli powder. Fry the spices well and then add tomato paste to it and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes and then add kasoori methi and peas. Add water as per requirement and then add makhana and salt in it. Mix well, boil for 2 to 3 minutes and then add garam masala in it. The vegetable is ready, garnish with green coriander and serve.
