parent mountain – The world’s largest Ashtadhatu idol of Hanumanji is installed in the Pitra Parvat (Pitreshwar Dham) of the city. It is situated in front of Gommatgiri near the aerodrome in the urban limits. There is an idol of Hanumanji 72 feet high and 72 feet wide here. Its weight is about 90 tons. Hanumanji’s mace weighs 21 tons and is 45 feet in length. Rs 10 crore was spent to make the idol. There is a laser light on the idol. When this light is turned on after dark, the aura of the idol becomes visible. People have planted lakhs of saplings here in the memory of their ancestors, due to which Pitru Parvat has become green. It is famous as a major tourist destination of the city because of the biggest Hanumanji statue.
Wachoo Point – This picnic spot is about 65 km away from Indore. This is a hill station. It can be reached here via Manpur. The view here becomes very beautiful during the rainy season. There are also rest houses of the Forest Department and PWD. These can be stopped with prior permission.
Ralamandal Sanctuary – It is located 12 kms from Indore. Ralamandal Sanctuary is a wonderful place in Indore city. It is surrounded by forests on all sides. Deer Park has also been built here to woo the tourists. Tourists can also enjoy safari in Deer Park.
Lotus Valley – There is a famous place named Lotus Valley in Hadod tehsil of Indore district. This place is located about 35 kms away from the city. It is also known as Gulavat. Here one can see lakhs of lotus flowers blooming in a lake. It can be reached directly from the aerodrome road.
Sitala Mata Fall – This place is about 55 kms from Indore. This place is three kilometers away from Manpur, near Janapav. Two waterfalls flow here. There is little danger near a waterfall. Seeing the flowing waterfall here gives comfort to the heart. There is also a lot of greenery around here.
Choral River – Next to Khandwa road is Choral village. The Choral river flows at a short distance from here. There is also a resort here and you can also enjoy boating. This place is about 40 kms away from Indore. The road to reach here is also good. You can go for a walk here. Apart from these, Patalpani, Tincha Fall, Kajligarh, Dewas Tekri are such places where they can be visited.
