Mandsaur Road Accident: Mandsaur(Naiduniya Representative). A truck driver recklessly rammed the bike on the Mhow-Neemuch highway on Sunday. The bike rider died in the accident. Angered by this, villagers blocked the Mhow-Neemuch highway. They were demanding Rs 1 crore as compensation. Then the SDM Biharisingh and the police officers took the villagers off the road after giving an explanation. At present, due to maintenance of one side of the four lane, the entire traffic is moving on one side only. There has also been an accident.
According to the information, at around 10 am on Sunday morning, 19-year-old Ayush son Badrilal Thanna was coming on a bike from his farm in village Fatehgarh, when a truck driver hit the bike while crossing the forelane. Ayush died in the accident. The young man sitting behind on the same bike was injured. Angry villagers blocked the Mhow-Neemuch highway due to the accident. People said that due to irregularities since the time of four lane construction, accidents are happening again and again. At the same time, Rs 1 crore was also demanded as compensation for Ayush’s death. Vehicles queued up for about three km on both sides of the congested highway due to the jam.
There was a queue of vehicles till Daloda on one side and Nayakheda on the other. First, Daloda station in-charge Sanjeev Singh reached the spot with the Parihar force. SDM Bihari Singh, CSP Parmal Singh also reached Mandsaur after the villagers did not agree. The round of consultation with the villagers continued for about three hours. The villagers remained adamant on the demand of compensation of Rs 1 crore. Then the SDM said that this demand will be sent to the government. For now, we can provide immediate assistance of Rs 25,000 from the Red Cross. Apart from this, under the scheme of the government, Rs 4 lakh will be provided. Later, on the persuasion, people agreed and traffic was restored.
Ayush’s son Badrilal Dhakad resident of Fatehgarh died in an accident between Daloda-Fatehgarh on the four lane. The accused truck driver fled after the accident. There was a ruckus by the angry people. Which was opened after consultation. -Bihari Singh, SDM
