New Delhi: Once again the bravery of Indian Navy soldiers has been seen. Indian Navy once again demonstrated its strength. Actually, the Indian Navy conducted an operation against the pirates who hijacked an Iranian ship. Indian Navy officials have given this information. Officials said that pirates had attempted to hijack the Iranian ship Al-Kambar 786 on March 28. As soon as information about this was received, the Indian Navy also became active. He said that Indian Navy ships deployed in the Arabian Sea have been sent to help the Iranian ship.
Pirates attack Iranian ship
Giving information on Friday, the Indian Navy said that it is engaged in the operation to rescue the captured Iranian fishing vessel and its crew members. Nine armed pirates have reportedly boarded this Iranian ship. According to an official statement shared by a Navy spokesperson, information was received late Thursday evening about a “possible pirate attack” on the Iranian fishing vessel ‘Al Kanbar 786’. Subsequently, two Indian naval ships were deployed in the Arabian Sea for maritime security operations.
Navy launched campaign to help
It was further reported that the Iranian fishing vessel was approximately 90 nautical miles (NM) south west of Socotra at the time of the incident. Along with this, it has also been told that nine armed pirates were aboard it. The Indian Navy has said in its statement that the operation by the Indian Navy to rescue the hijacked Iranian vessel and its crew members is still going on. The Indian Navy said the Indian Navy is committed to ensuring maritime security in the region and the safety of sailors irrespective of nationalities.
