Action started for starting heliport service from Lucknow to Naimisharan Dham and Dudhwa National Park

New Delhi. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s resolve to promote tourism in the state is being proved on the ground. For the first time in the history of the state, the heliport service between Agra and Mathura is going to be started soon. To start the heliport service on PPP mode, five companies have been selected in the tender floated by the tourism department. In order to promote tourism in the state, basic facilities are being increased by the government. Simultaneously, action has been initiated to start heliport service from Lucknow to Naimisharan Dham and Dudhwa National Park. The tourism department has selected five companies Fly Blade, Rajas Adventure, Oasis, Shaurya Aeronautics, Sririsha Technology for the heliport service between Agra and Mathura. After opening the financial and technical bids of these companies, the cabinet will seal the selected companies. In this, Fly Blade operates air service to Shirdi in Maharashtra and Rajas Adventure operates sea plane in Gujarat.

The economy will get a boost due to the increase in cultural and religious tourism

Despite Corona during the tenure of CM Yogi, the number of tourists in the state has increased by 27 percent from 2017 to 2021. More than 125 crore Indian tourists and more than 1.25 crore foreign tourists have come to the state. Due to the increase in the number of tourists, the number of hotels and rooms in the state has also increased and four and a half thousand rooms have also increased. In Ground Breaking Ceremony 3, 23 projects worth Rs 575 crore are coming on the ground and other projects of similar amount are in the pipeline. This will not only increase cultural and religious tourism, but will also boost the economy of the state.

1084 projects worth three thousand crores landed on the ground

CM Yogi had prepared the tourism policy in the state in 2018. As a result of that, in the last few years, there has been an increase in investment from tourists to the state in the field of tourism. During the tenure of CM Yogi, 1084 projects of tourism development worth about three thousand crores have come on the ground.

The foundation stone of three new hotels has been laid in GBC 3 in Gorakhpur at a cost of about 150 crores. Similarly, three hotels are going to be built in Bareilly at a cost of 70 crores, Wellness Tourism at a cost of 94 crores in Meerut and Taj Hotel and Convention Center at a cost of 66 crores in Agra.
