With the Mumbai airport, the Adani Group now controls 33 per cent of the country’s air cargo traffic.

Adani Group will now hold 74 per cent stake in Mumbai’s International Airport. Out of which 50.5 percent will be held by GVK Group A and 23.5 percent from Bidwest Group. It was said by the Adani Group that air travel in India will accelerate only after the pandemic. Apart from this, the International Air Transport Association has also projected that by 2022 air traffic will reach 88 percent compared to earlier and in the year 2023 it will benefit even more.
