However, it has been reported by Afghan media that all Indians are safe and passports of those snatched by Taliban have been checked.
Let us tell you that according to an Afghan journalist, the hostages are currently being kept in a garage near Kabul airport and will now be taken back to Kabul airport. One of the hostages was accompanied by his wife and escaped from the clutches of the Taliban. He said, “We reached the airport by vehicle at one o’clock in the night but due to poor coordination we could not enter the airport. Meanwhile many Talibani came and started beating people. All were taken hostage in a car by Taliban men. My wife and I jumped out of the car and ran away.”
