The chiefs of the three armies are going to hold a press conference at around 2 pm. Earlier this morning itself, there was a long meeting between Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and the three army chiefs. Rajnath also held a meeting with the Navy and Air Force chiefs yesterday. After this meeting, Rajnath Singh had also announced that Agniveers would be given jobs in the army and related establishments after their retirement. Rajnath Singh had also given information about reserving 10 percent space for them.

It is believed that the government can make this scheme more beneficial for the firefighters. Apart from this, the government can also promise to accommodate them somewhere when they retire. Meanwhile, this morning itself, the Air Force has given information by tweeting that what will be the benefits to the Agniveers. In this, the Air Force has mentioned the salary they will get for four years, the retirement they will get. It has also been told that apart from the facility of free canteen, Agniveers will also get 30 days leave every year and insurance of Rs 48 lakh during the job. Apart from this, like the rest of the soldiers and officers of the army, they will also get the respect that is given for showing bravery.
Let us inform that the Agniveer scheme has been brought under the Agneepath service of the Army. Youngsters in the age group of 17 to 21 years can participate. This year this age limit has been kept at 23 years. After four years of service, they will be given about 12 lakh rupees. Apart from this, the government has also said to be taken in central forces and other government establishments. Even after this, incidents of violence and arson are taking place in protest against this scheme in all the states of the country including Bihar.
