New Delhi. At a time when the challenges on the security front are increasing continuously for India. While on the one hand China is intent on encroaching on our border, on the other hand, Pakistan, which eats its face from India every time, does not deter its nefarious antics. Although, on many occasions, both these countries have been given a befitting reply by the Indian security forces, but forced by their habit, they probably enjoy eating mouth-to-mouth from India. But now in the direction of giving a befitting reply to these countries, last Monday was a great day in terms of India’s defense power. This testing was done on APJ Abdul Kalam Island located in Chandipur, Odisha on 6 June 2022 at 7.30 pm. Indian Army and Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) successfully test-fired their powerful missile Agni-4. Its successful test confirms India’s policy of ‘reliable minimum deterrence’. This missile has been successfully tested many times in the past as well. Even before this, this missile has been successfully tested many times. Agni-4 missile was jointly developed by DRDO and Bharat Dynamics Limited. At the same time, the firepower of Agni 3 is up to 3000 km. However, this missile can also be extended up to 4000 km.
What is the specialty of missile
The total weight of the missile is 17 thousand kg and the length is 20 meters. Three types of weapons can be carried in this missile, this missile is capable of carrying nuclear weapons. Including- conventional, thermobaric and strategic nuclear weapons. The Agni-IV missile is capable of hitting targets up to a range of 4000 km. This is the fourth missile of the Agni series missile.
