He said that ‘not enough has been done to protect civilians.’ Biden expressed outrage over the deadly attacks in Gaza, saying, “He was delivering food to hungry people in the midst of war, he was brave and selfless, his death is a tragedy.”
‘Accountability should be fixed’
Regarding the death of aid workers in the attack, President Joe Biden said, “Israel has promised to conduct a thorough investigation into why the aid workers’ car came under attack.” Biden said in his statement that the investigation should be fast, there should be accountability and its results should be made public.
‘It is difficult to send humanitarian aid to Gaza’
The US President said, “What is even more sad is that this is not the first incident. This attack has been one of the most dangerous attacks. Israel has not left any way to deliver aid to Gaza and that is why there is violence in Gaza.” It has been difficult to send humanitarian aid. Israel has not done enough to protect civilians. The US has repeatedly urged Israel to be compassionate towards civilians.
Demand for fair investigation
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has also expressed concern over the deaths of aid workers in Gaza. Seven aid workers from ‘World Central Kitchen’ have been killed in the attack, which included three British citizens. PM Sunak has stressed the need for a comprehensive and impartial investigation into the incident.

Earlier, White House National Security Spokesman John Kirby said in a press briefing that we express our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the aid workers. Kirby emphasized that both Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israel Defense Forces have promised to investigate “in a swift and thorough manner.” We hope those findings will be made public and appropriate accountability will be held.
