new Delhi . Congress leaders Sanjay Nirupam and Pawan Khera on Sunday made a big allegation on Amtech company of doing scams worth crores of rupees. In the press conference, Sanjay Nirupam said that “the NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always claimed that they will not tolerate corruption under any circumstances, but corruption is happening.” During this, the Congress leaders surrounded the government regarding corruption, while disclosing the scam said, “Amtech Group of Companies took a loan of about 25 thousand crores from the public sector banks of India and drowned the entire loan and finally declared a defaulter. Later they get involved in the insolvency case.”
According to Congress leaders, Amtek is an auto parts manufacturing company. It is a company from Delhi, Chandigarh, North, which has also a very good global presence. A big famous brand of this company is from this group, which you all know, that is Barista Coffee. At the same time, NCLT, Resolution Professionals and those lending companies are involved in this scam.
Sanjay Nirupam said, “In 2016 the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code becomes such a new law, under which all the corporate companies have been exempted in a way or given a legal route that if you are not able to run your company. and are going to default, you can go to NCLT and after going into liquidation, a complete system has been created.”
“The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India had told some time ago that 4946 companies have gone bankrupt in the last 5 years, in which the cases of 457 companies have been resolved and these 457 companies have taken 8 lakh 30 thousand crore loans from banks, in this Rs 6 lakh crore were drowned by the banks.”
Congress leaders said, “Our question is, why these promoters are being saved? What is the government to do with them? If the finance minister says that the loan was given during the UPA era and not in our times, then the loan The sinking work which is going on is going on during the NDA era.”
According to Sanjay Nirupam, recently the RBI released the list of Dirty Dozens, giving information about 12 companies in which it was said that the banks owed 2.5 lakh crore rupees on these companies, Congress has demanded if big company loans and she is declaring bankruptcy, then why action is not being taken against them.
