Bagalkot (Karnataka). Karnataka Education Minister B.C. Nagesh on Sunday appealed to the students to leave their arrogance on the issue of hijab and appear in the class 10th examination. He said, “Leave arrogance and appear in the exam. Most of the students are following the orders of the High Court and the government notification.”
He said that for those who will not appear in the examination now, they will be re-examed after one month, but after that they will not have any option.
The Education Minister said that he is sure that the students who are protesting now will also understand the importance of the examination and appear in the examination.
He said, “I appeal again and again to give up your ego and not become a weapon of others. The Chief Minister has also made such an appeal.”
Several lakh students are studying for SSLC exam and around 100 students have boycotted classes.
From Monday, SSLC examination will be held at 3,444 centers in the state, in which 8,74,000 students will appear. This time the number of multiple choice questions in the exam has been increased.
