Ever since Leena released the poster of the film Kali, she has come under constant attack from politicians to people. People are demanding the arrest of director Leena Manimekalai. At the same time, Twitter had also removed his controversial post amidst the growing uproar. But Leena did not stop here, once again doing a controversial tweet, adding fuel to the fire. All the veteran actors of Bollywood expressed their indignation about the poster of the film. In this sequence, Arun Govil, who became famous for playing the character of Lord Ram in the Ramayana show, has made a tweet in the matter. Along with this, he has expressed his anger over the controversial poster. He called it a gross insult to Hinduism.
Arun Govil tweeted and wrote, “Insulting Maa Kali is a gross insult to Hinduism, a direct attack on the faith of crores of Hindus. Insults to Hindu gods and goddesses have become prevalent in films and advertisements. Why and for how long is the Hindu religion being insulted again and again? Such heinous crimes must stop immediately.”

Earlier, actor Anupam Kher lashed out at the film’s director Leena Manimekalai without naming her. Sharing a photo, the actor wrote, “There is a very famous Maa Kali temple in Shimla. # Kalibari. Used to go many times in childhood. For boondi prasad and sweet charanamrit. Outside the temple, a sadhu/fakir type used to repeat again and again.. “Jai Maa Calcutta Wali… tera curse na jaye khali..” I am missing that monk and the temple a lot these days!”
