Another cheap car has been launched in India today to compete with Maruti Alto. Renault India has today launched the new 2022 Kwid at a starting price of Rs 4.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Earlier, Renault Kwid, launched in 2015, has been bought by 4 lakh customers. Due to which it has become the most successful product of this French car manufacturer in India.

The Kwid is available in both 0.8-litre and 1-litre petrol powertrains with manual and automatic transmission options. The company claims that in terms of mileage, the Kwid gives a mileage of 22.25 kmpl with ARAI testing certification.

The KWID comes in multiple color options with new dual-tone flex wheels. It gets a first-in-class 8-inch touchscreen MediaNAV Evolution infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, audio playback and voice recognition.

Apart from this, features like reverse parking camera, dual front airbags, ABS and EBD, seat belt reminder, overspeed alert, reverse parking sensor and pre-tensioner are also present in it. The new Renault Kwid will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Alto and Datsun Go.
