Samsung is launching a new A-series phone on March 17. This year is expected to see two new phones under this series. Samsung took a similar step with the A72 and A52 during its A-series launch last year. The two new phones this year are expected to be the Galaxy A73 and A53, both of which are expected to be 5G phones. It should be live-streamed on the company’s website and on YouTube.

Leaks so far suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G phone will come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, while the Galaxy A53 5G may feature a 6.52-inch screen. There will be 120Hz panels on both the devices. The cheapest is expected to pack the Exynos 1200 SoC under the hood, while the Galaxy A73 5G could come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. This chip also powers the Galaxy F23 and OnePlus Nord CE smartphones.
In terms of cameras, both the phones are expected to come with quad rear camera setup but with different sensors. The Samsung Galaxy A73 may pack a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The Galaxy A53, on the other hand, could feature a 64-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, and two 5-megapixel cameras. Both the Galaxy A series phones are said to pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.
