Bundi. Thana Talera and District Special team raided a farm house on the banks of the canal near Badunda village of police station area on Sunday night and arrested 13 gamblers including sarpanch and ward councilor who were betting money on cards and put 1.97 lakhs at stake. Rupees, 14 mobile phones and 12 pairs of cards have been recovered.
Bundi SP Jai Yadav said that on Sunday, information was received from the informer that many people were gambling on cards at Sanjay Soni’s farm house on the bank of canal near Badunda village. On information, a team was formed under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Kishori Lal and under the supervision of CO Keshavarayapatan Shankar Lal Meena, under the leadership of SHO Talera Digvijay Singh and DST in-charge Mukesh Kumar Meena.
The team formed on the information raided Sanjay Soni’s farm house at night. Where 13 people were gambling on cards in the light of light. Those who were surrounded and caught. A total of 197000 rupees, 12 pairs of cards and 14 mobiles were found in the search of the boat kept on the ground and all were arrested under the RPGO Act.
