New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party has termed Rahul Gandhi’s decision to contest elections from Rae Bareli at the last moment as a self-goal for Congress. Party spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh said that this is a sheer fraud with the people of Wayanad.
Less chances of Rahul winning from Wayanad
Taking aim at Rahul Gandhi, Gaurav Vallabh said that earlier it was announced to contest elections only from Wayanad. When the Wayanad elections were over and input was received that the chances of winning from there were less, then it was decided to contest from another seat also. He also did not contest from his first seat, Amethi, but decided to contest from the seat on which his mother had been contesting.
Fraud with voters of Wayanad and Rae Bareli
Gaurav Vallabh said that this is a fraud not only on the people of Wayanad but also on the people of Rae Bareli. Congress is scoring self goals. Gaurav Vallabh said that it should be announced in advance that he will contest elections from two seats. Vallabh said that Rahul did not contest from Amethi because the people there did not like him at all.
lack of confidence
Gaurav Vallabh said that this is the same situation as if a candidate has to answer one of two questions in the examination and after answering one, he writes the answer to the other. He thinks that if the first one is wrong then the second one will be right. Gaurav Vallabh said that this clearly shows lack of confidence. Let us tell you that Gaurav Vallabh was earlier the spokesperson of Congress but recently he resigned from Congress and joined BJP.
