As the heat has started increasing, snakes have started appearing in the rural areas adjacent to Corbett Park.
Save the Snake Society freed more than 50 thousand snakes
In rural areas, if a snake comes into someone’s house, the villagers do not kill it but immediately inform the members of Save the Snake Society, who reach the spot, rescue the snakes and set them free in the forest with the help of the forest department. Till date, Save the Snake Society has freed more than 50 thousand snakes from populated areas into the forest with the help of the Forest Department. Along with saving snakes, the committee members are also giving the message of their conservation in the area.
Snakes coming out of holes as heat increases
As the heat increased, in the last two days, more than 15 cobra snakes and king cobras were rescued from different areas by the committee members in the rural areas adjacent to Corbett Park, Dhela, Sawalde, Dhikuli, Ramnagar and sent to the forest department. With the help of freed from the jungle.
