With the female doctor’s trick, it is possible to save up to 80 percent water.
New Delhi. The country’s IT hub Bengaluru is currently struggling with water shortage. The water crisis in the city is increasing to such an extent that even the CM House is not untouched by it. Meanwhile, the water saving tips of a female doctor from Bengaluru are going viral. He claims that these methods have reduced water consumption by an estimated 600 liters per day for his family of four, all without affecting their daily routine.
A doctor named Divya Sharma gave a total of four suggestions to save water in this difficult time. These water saving tips are very simple and very effective. He talked about taking bath with bucket instead of shower. It was advised to install aerators on all taps while bathing. By doing this, water will come from the tap at 80 percent less speed and water will be saved. In his post, Dr. Sharma wrote, “Small steps to conserve water at home. Although we have been very cautious about water usage in the past, there is always room for improvement. “I am sharing my domestic experience.”

In a later post he wrote, “No overhead shower. As a dermatologist, I always preferred bucket bathing. A shower uses 13 liters per minute while a bucket uses 20 litres. 5 minute shower vs bucket bathing. This saves 45 liters per person. Estimated Savings: 180 litres”
4/ Others: washing machine used once full load is achieved.

The female doctor said, “We have installed aerators on all the taps. A 30-minute session of washing utensils now consumes 90 litres, whereas earlier the consumption was 450 litres. This is for small utensils throughout the day. For a full load at the end of the day – a dishwasher is used, which uses more water. This saves 360 liters of water in a day,” he said, “The wet water from RO is not thrown away but is used for mopping the house and in the garden. “This saves about 30 liters of water.”
