Bank Holidays: The festivals of Ugadi and Gudi Padwa are celebrated with great pomp in different parts of the country. According to the RBI holiday calendar, there will be a bank holiday in many states on April 9.
Let us tell you, at the beginning of every year, the calendar of bank holidays is brought out by RBI. Accordingly, there are holidays in government and private banks across the country. Banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days in April, including the second and fourth Saturday and Sunday.

Today, the first day of Navratri is being celebrated with Ugadi and Gudi Padwa in many states of the country. Banks will remain closed on this occasion in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Manipur, Goa, Jammu and Kashmir.
There will be work in banks only for three days this week, because there will be a holiday in banks on 9th April on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, 11th April due to Eid and second Saturday on 13th April. Due to holidays, banks in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Manipur, Goa, Jammu and Kashmir will work only on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday this week.
