New Delhi. China continuously asserts its claim on Arunachal Pradesh. He calls it part of Southern Tibet. Now PM Narendra Modi has given a direct and befitting reply to China on the issue of Arunachal Pradesh. In an interview with Assam Tribune newspaper, PM Modi said that Arunachal Pradesh was, is and will remain an integral part of India. In his interview, PM Modi also mentioned the Sela Tunnel built in Arunachal Pradesh. He said that this area has emerged as the biggest success story of new India. This statement of Modi is also a reply to those opposition parties including Congress, who continuously say that the Prime Minister no longer shows red eyes to China.
Let us tell you that due to the construction of Sela Tunnel, the distance of LAC has reduced by 10 kilometers and in all weather conditions, the army and its weapons can be quickly transported to LAC in Arunachal Pradesh if needed. All-weather commuting facility is available from Sela Tunnel to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. Modi also mentioned the specialty of this Sela Tunnel in his interview. Before Modi, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar had also given a clear message to China on the issue of Arunachal Pradesh. Foreign Minister Jaishankar had said that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India.
Jaishankar and Modi’s clear and strict message to China on the issue of Arunachal Pradesh has come when the neighboring country, again showing its bad intentions, had announced to change the names of many places in Arunachal Pradesh. Even before this, China has been naming all the areas of Arunachal Pradesh as per its own. Every time India has clearly rejected this action of China. India is of the clear opinion that naming the areas of Arunachal Pradesh as fictitious names will not change the reality and this state will remain an integral part of India. Let us tell you that there is tension going on between China and India since the year 2020. Both the countries have also deployed a large number of armies on the LAC.
