New Delhi. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav is now working on a new plan to prevent attacks and arson on trains. Soon the attempt to target the trains is going to be overshadowed by the miscreants. The Railway Minister has decided to equip the Railway Protection Force (RPF) with modern weapons. He gave this information in a special conversation with a TV channel. The Railway Minister said that the safety of trains and passengers traveling in them is their first priority and rioters and miscreants will no longer be allowed to attack trains under any circumstances.
He said that the Railway Protection Force personnel will now get state-of-the-art weapons. With this they will be able to deal with the rioters in a better way. These weapons will be tear gas shells and rubber bullets. Through these, RPF personnel will be able to disperse the miscreants immediately. Vaishnav also said that ways are being explored to deploy RPF personnel more rapidly to stop the violence, so that they can be driven away from the spot before the mob of miscreants gathers. Let us inform that in the past, trains were targeted during the riots in many states including Bihar against the Agniveer scheme. All the trains were torched by the miscreants.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also appealed to the youth not to damage trains and railway properties during the agitation. He said that railways is the property of you and the nation. It is also used by the poor people for transportation. Vaishnav said then why do people break and burn their own property. I urge them not to do such things. Apart from this, he also called upon the youth to modernize trains and work in startups related to railways.
