Bhopal Arts and Culture : Bhopal (Navdunia representative). The second day of the three-day Jashn-e-Urdu organized by Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy at Rabindra Bhawan was in the name of women empowerment. In the first parallel session, where lectures and literary open mics were organized, the assembly of mushairas and melodious music was decorated.
In the first session, a lecture was held on the topic of women’s literature in Urdu, in which the speakers expressed their views on the literary works of women. The speakers said that women have created excellent literature in Urdu. In this, she is seen standing shoulder to shoulder with the men. It is another matter that initially he was ignored but over time his involvement has been recognized. Dr. Khalid Mehmood of Delhi said that there is no dearth of good poets, story writers and novelists women in Urdu literature. Women’s works, especially in fiction, are so outstanding that they stand the test of international literature. Afshan Malik, who came from Aligarh, said that women’s literature defines the intellectual and ideological abilities of half of the society of a country, women’s literature populates a world of sensations, feelings and experiences of women and is completely covered by a country. Or the culture of the society can be seen and understood. It is such a valuable heritage that women are passed on from one generation to another. Speakers also narrated the lions of women poets.

Dr. Nusrat Mehdi, Director of Urdu Academy, welcomed the guests. The session was presided over by senior female litterateur Razia Hamid and conducted by Mehmood Malik. In Literary Open Mic, Nauman Khan Qazi presented ghazals like Roz Taar ko Numaish Mein hai… In the second session, a women’s Mushaira was organized in the name of Chilman Mushaira, in which Shayrat presented excellent Kalam. In the final session, famous singer Mamta Joshi paid tribute to her by presenting songs sung by Swara Kokila Lata Mangeshkar in her best voice.
