K surendran fight against Rahul Gandhi: Kerala President of Bharatiya Janata Party K. Surendran will directly contest Rahul Gandhi of Congress from Wayanad seat. BJP has included K. in its fifth list. Surendran has been given ticket from Wayanad seat. In this way it has been finalized that there will be a direct contest between Rahul Gandhi and Surendran. Rahul Gandhi is the outgoing MP from Wayanad and it is certain that he will contest from there. On the other hand, no final decision has been taken yet on whether he will contest from Amethi seat or not. In 2019, Smriti Irani had contested the elections against Rahul Gandhi in Amethi and she defeated Rahul Gandhi from Amethi. For this reason, BJP has fielded a strong candidate in the form of K Suredran from Wayanad.
connection with many movements
Of. Surendran is considered a veteran leader of North Kerala. He is a hard-working soldier of BJP and keeps adopting aggressive stance on all kinds of Hindutva issues. BJP made him the state president of the party in 2020. In 2019, K Surendran had contested elections from Pathanamthitta, but was not successful.
In the protests against Sabarimala in 2018, K. Surendran had agitated and due to this he remained in jail for a month. In the 2021 assembly elections, he was also accused that he and five other people threatened the BSP candidate to withdraw his name. K Surendran is working hard to get seats for BJP in the state.
