Emphasizing on infrastructure development in backward areas, a major part of the budget can be given for this, especially for construction of roads and schools and ashram shalas in tribal and backward areas. In the budget, the Chief Minister can announce to give unemployment allowance in the state. After April, the process of registration etc. can be started for this. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Bhumiless Nyay Yojana, the government can announce to increase the amount of six thousand rupees annually being given in three installments to seven thousand rupees.

The Congress had made 36 promises in its public manifesto in the 2018 assembly elections. Of these, she is claiming to fulfill 17 promises. Assembly elections are to be held in the state in November next year. In such a situation, the government will also get a chance to present the budget for the financial year 2023-24. This budget will come into effect from April 2023. In such a situation, the implementation of the announcements and plans included in it will not start before May. By then the election process will also start. In such a situation, the government will have to show and show the work of the budget till the financial year 2022-23. That is why this budget is being considered important.
Economic survey forecasts increase in per capita income
Planning and Statistics Minister Amarjit Bhagat presented the Economic Survey in the Vidhan Sabha. There is a possibility of increase in per capita income in the state, which can be up to one lakh 18 thousand 401 rupees. This is 11.93 percent more than last year (one lakh five thousand 778 rupees). The GDP of the state is estimated at 11.54 percent. Average growth was recorded at 5.92 per cent.
The share of agriculture and allied sector in GDP is estimated at 16.73 percent and that of industry at 50.61 percent. The participation of the services sector is expected to be 32.66 percent. In the financial year 2021-22, a growth of 17.11 percent is expected in the total receipts.
