Routine flights were affected for almost two years due to the Corona epidemic. After a long gap, now routine international airlines are going to start from March 27. The government has made this announcement on Tuesday. The government imposed restrictions on international flights on 23 March 2020. Since then only special flights were operating for 37 countries.
Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said, ‘In view of the reduction in corona cases and the opinion of the stakeholders, it has been decided to operate regular flights from March 27. With this step I am sure this sector will scale new heights. In a statement issued by the ministry, it was said that this has been possible due to the rapid vaccination.
The statement said, “Regular flights will remain canceled till 11:59 pm on 26 March 2022.” After this, regular flights are being allowed. Let us tell you that there is a steady decrease in the cases of corona across the world. Due to vaccination, the third wave of corona is also under control and is on the verge of ending.
In the last 24 hours, 3527 new cases were found in India, which is the lowest after 12 May 2020. The Aviation Ministry said that the flights are arranged according to the advisory of the Ministry of Health. Let us inform that in comparison to January 2022, there has been an increase of 19 percent in the number of international passengers in February 2022. While 64 lakh people traveled in January, this number increased to 76 lakh in February.
