New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is a very strange politician. At first, they come to Tashan and make big promises to woo the public, but when it comes to fulfilling them, they leave the narrow lane. Now you must be thinking that brother, what is the mistake made by Kejriwal sahib that you are creating such an incendiary role in his context. What is the last issue? So sir, you leave worrying about the matter. First you understand this chronology. So the date was 3rd October. The year was 2019. Another character was Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. And this character made a promise. And there was a promise to build a sports university in Mundka. The purpose behind making this university was so that the youth of the capital could get proper training in sports. Apart from this, sports should also be given an employable form like education elsewhere. Delhiites welcomed the CM’s promise. Especially the trainee players of Delhi got a new hope. But alas, Kejriwal sahib could not fulfill these expectations of Delhiites even after a lapse of two years. On the contrary, sports did not hesitate to spend crores of rupees in advertisement in the name of the university. Now people are not able to digest the fact that even after three years have passed, not even a brick of the university has been cast and crores of rupees have been destroyed in the name of advertisement. After all why so?
It is beyond comprehension that CM Kejriwal has got the bills brought in the context of sports university from Rajya Sabha to Lok Sabha passed by both the houses. The Vice-Chancellor of the University has also been appointed. Have done all the preparations. Even frameworks have been prepared elsewhere to impart knowledge to the players in the context of sports, but so far no step has been taken in the direction of giving concrete shape to the university. After all, why is this and crores of rupees have been spent separately in the name of advertisement. Let us inform that the Delhi Government has earmarked 90 acres of land for setting up a sports university in Mundka. In this context, in the past, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had said that we have also allotted land for setting up a sports university. We have everything. The Vice-Chancellor has also been appointed. Come, even if these words of the Deputy Chief Minister are to be accepted, then the question now is when is he going to implement these above statements.
On the other hand, in this context, the local MLA says that it may be an exaggeration to make any final comment regarding this. Therefore, the MLA sahib also considers it appropriate to refrain from saying anything. At the same time, local residents say that the Kejriwal government seems apathetic about its promises. The attitude of the Kejriwal government does not seem that they are at all serious about setting up a sports university. Had it been, today our children would not have to go to another place to play, rather they would have got proper knowledge about various sports while living there, but the present government only knows how to make promises keeping in mind the electoral benefits, rather Not completing it at all.
11,500 per month is provided as a special allowance to the Vice-Chancellor, but even after two years, the Kejriwal government has not taken any step towards fulfilling its promise. Till now no tender has been passed by the Kejriwal government in this regard. The Delhi government seems completely apathetic about its promise. completely inactive. At the same time, in the name of sports, the Delhi government has spent Rs 1 crore 71 lakh. Now in such a situation, this promise of the Kejriwal government was just an election gimmick, it is in a mood to fulfill it. For now, only time will tell.
