ED today conducted raids in Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kurukshetra and Kolkata on the premises of Makarian Shipping and Logistics Pvt Ltd and its directors Vijay Kumar Shukla and Sanjay Goswami and associated entities Laxmiton Maritime. During this raid, ED has recovered cash worth crores from washing machines. ED has conducted this raid on the basis of a secret input.
ED has arrested Red Hindustan International, Rajnandini Metals Limited, Stowart Alloys India Private Limited; Bhagyanagar Limited, Vinayak Steels Limited, M/s Vashishtha Construction Private Limited; And its Directors/Partners Sandeep Garg, Vinod Kedia and other castes in various places i.e. Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kurukshetra and Kolkata.
Crores of rupees recovered from washing machine
During the search, the ED found cash worth Rs 2.54 crore, a part of which was hidden in the washing machine. Apart from this, during the search, the agency found various incriminating documents and electronic devices, which were confiscated. At the same time, the agency has also frozen 47 bank accounts of the institutions involved.
were sending money abroad on a large scale
According to the information received, ED found that these entities are involved in sending foreign exchange outside India on a large scale and there is suspicious foreign exchange of Rs 1800 crore to M/s Galaxy Shipping & Logistics Pvt. Ltd., Singapore and M/s. Horizon Shipping & Logistics Pvt. Ltd., Singapore. Has sent. ED said that both these foreign institutions are managed by Anthony de Silva.
According to the ED, during the search it was found that Makriyanian Shipping and Logistics Private Limited; M/s Laxmiton Maritime along with its associates have diverted Rs.1800 crores to Singapore based entities through transactions under the garb of fake freight services, imports and with the help of shell entities like Neha Metals, Amit Steel Traders, Triple M Metal & Alloys, HMS Metals etc. Sent Rs.
