A shocking incident has come to light in Barmer district of Rajasthan. Here a hotel operator beat up the young man for refusing wages. The allegation is that he forcibly made the youth drink urine. On the basis of the victim’s report, the police have registered under other sections including SC ST Act. The matter is of Chahtan police station area of Barmer district.

The victim, Chandasani resident Kailash Koli, has lodged a case with the police station Bakhasar. According to this, he works as a laborer in Gujarat and has recently come to his village. The victim told the police that her old owner Dashrath Singh called her on Saturday. When the victim reached his hotel, Dashrath Singh asked Kailash to work as a laborer on his liquor contract. Koli said that when he refused to work, Dashrath Singh first thrashed him mercilessly with plastic wire. After this, she was forced to urinate by locking her in a room. According to the victim, after hearing his screams, the people nearby came and rescued him.

Victim Kailash told the police that till some time back he used to work on Dashrath Singh’s liquor contract. She alleged that Dashrath Singh used to abuse her and did not even pay her wages on time. According to the victim, whenever Dashrath Singh gives wages, he does not give full. Disturbed by this, he left his work and went to Gujarat for wages.
Case registered, investigation started
Bakhasar police station officer Kamlesh Gehlot said that Kailash Koli, a resident of Chandsani, has lodged a case of assault and forced her to drink urine. Gehlot said that on the basis of the victim’s report, the police have registered under other sections including SC ST Act and investigation of the case has been given to Chahtan CO.
