MLA said – the dead body occupies the place, 10-12 people can be brought in its place
BJP MLA said it is a war zone. All of you are showing the ground situation on television through your channels. The body will be brought after the flight services resume. In a situation when it is proving difficult to bring the living people, it will be even more difficult to bring the dead body as it takes up more space. Instead, 10 to 12 people can be brought. The MLA also said that students migrate to India to fulfill their dream of getting a medical degree abroad due to hefty fees.
The body of 22-year-old Naveen is lying in Kharkiv’s morgue. The parents are requesting the central government to bring their son’s body back home for the last rites. Meanwhile, Venkatesh Vaishyar of Chalgeri, whose son Amit (23) and nephew Suman (24) are also stranded in the war-torn country, told that they have been kept in a school 20 km from Kharkiv along with around 1,700 Indians. Amit and Suman could not board the train in safe areas as Ukrainian authorities gave priority to women and natives of the country.
Congress counterattack – insensitivity and cruelty is now the DNA of BJP
At the same time, the Congress targeted the BJP over the remarks of Karnataka MLA Arvind Bellad. Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala tweeted that cruelty is now the DNA of the saffron party. It also accused the Center of getting propaganda to expel Indian students from the war-torn country. He said that BJP leaders who are intoxicated with arrogance have got intoxicated with power, especially BJP leaders from Karnataka. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi calls children who went to Ukraine ‘NEET FAILS’. Arvind Bellad has lost his balance. Insensitivity and cruelty have now become the DNA of BJP.
“One thing is clear, there are no plans to save the thousands of children who have been fighting for their lives for the past nine days in the Ukraine-Russian war amid heavy bombings and missile attacks,” he said. From Ukraine to Uttar Pradesh (where assembly elections are being held) only public relations and image saving is being focused. The Congress leader also shared a video of Union Minister Gen (Retd) VK Singh and said ministers in the Modi government were telling the children trapped for nine days in bomb and missile attacks but where were they when the ultimatum was issued.
