Hubli. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday said a final decision on cabinet expansion would be taken after two days. “We are very busy with the Legislative Council and Rajya Sabha elections. The core committee meeting will be held on Saturday. We will take the decisions taken in the meeting to the high command and take a big decision on cabinet expansion.
The core committee appointed former CM B.S. for the post of MLC. The name of Yeddyurappa’s son Vijayendra has been recommended.
Party sources say that all the leaders are ready to give Vijayendra a ministerial post.
Bommai further said that his government has taken an appropriate decision on hijab, halal and azaan disputes. We are giving efficient and public friendly government, he said. This is our befitting reply to the opponents.
Recently Bommai and Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi had an important discussion about cabinet ministers.
Actually, the party wants to include 10 new faces in the cabinet, but only five seats are vacant in the cabinet.
