New Delhi. Former Delhi Deputy CM and Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia could not be found again today in the money laundering case related to the Delhi Liquor Policy scam. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has extended Sisodia’s judicial custody till April 26. Earlier, the court had extended the judicial custody of Aam Aadmi Party leader Sisodia till April 18.
Aam Aadmi Party is in trouble in the Delhi liquor policy scam case. Party convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself is in jail in this case. ED has claimed that Arvind Kejriwal is the kingpin of this liquor scam. Not only this, ED has also named Manish Sisodia as the main accused in this case. ED says that with the knowledge of Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, this liquor policy was prepared in such a way that a big game could be played through it.
Earlier, Manish Sisodia had appealed to the court for bail to campaign in the Lok Sabha elections. Special Judge Kaveri Baweja, while hearing Manish’s petition, has issued notice to CBI and ED. The next hearing on this appeal of Sisodia will be held on April 20. Manish Sisodia has said in his application that he should be granted bail to campaign in the Lok Sabha elections. ED had also arrested AAP MP Sanjay Singh in the same case. However, recently Sanjay Singh got bail from the court and came out of jail. In the same case, ED has arrested former Telangana CM KCR Rao’s daughter and BRS leader K. Kavita was also arrested. After this CBI Asked permission from the court to interrogate Kavita. After interrogation, CBI arrested Kavita from ED custody.
