Students being brought back to India from Ukraine under Operation Ganga will be taken from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI Airport) to their homes. This initiative has been taken by the Ministry of Railways. In order to ensure reserved berths for children in the train, the Railways has arranged a special reservation center at the Delhi airport. It is being monitored by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav himself. Special officers of the ministry have also been deployed at the airport to ensure that the returning students do not face any kind of problem.

Speaking on the occasion, the Railway Minister said that Indian Railways is determined to provide all possible help at its level to the Indian children returning back to India from Ukraine.
Separate help desks of each state have been set up at the airport. Arrangements have been made for food and drink for the people coming from Ukraine here. Along with this, arrangements are being made for their flight tickets, taxis. A team of doctors is also deployed. Dial’s team is helping if any student is in need.
