Dhamdha. Six agar six kori tariya (126 ponds) of Dhamdha will be revived. After collecting the actual information of all the ponds, action will be taken to free them from encroachment. Along with this, people will also be made aware about this heritage. For this, Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Brijesh Singh Kshatriya has directed the officers.
Dhamdha SDM took a surprise meeting of Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar and Patwari and instructed to collect data of all ponds of Dhamdha within two days. How many ponds are still alive in this, how many ponds have been filled. How many ponds are on government land, but illegal occupation has taken place there at present. After gathering this information, action is being taken to demarcate the ponds in a phased manner. A spot inspection will be done on the ponds located on government land and the occupants will be asked to move out on their own. With the cooperation of citizens, the occupation of government ponds will be removed unanimously. Even after this, if the occupation of the government ponds is not removed, then strict action will be taken against them as per the revenue rules. SDM Brijesh Singh Kshatriya said that there is a unique series of 126 ponds in Dhamdha, but they are getting stuck due to lack of maintenance.
A memorandum was issued by the Office of Revenue Inspector. In this, according to the memorandum issued by the Tehsil in Dhamdha Nagar Patwari Halka No. 9 on February 14, a memorandum was received for the demarcation of the Dhamdha body ponds. Tehsildar Ramkumar Sonkar, Naib Tehsildar Huleshwar Patel, Patwari Omkar Deshmukh, Vivek Devangan, Krishna Das Bande, Madhukant Singh, Devdas Banjare were present during the inspection.
