For a few years, most of the farmers’ insurance or other government schemes, payments and transactions are being done through the District Co-Operative Bank. In such a situation, 93 villages of the area are directly connected with the bank. There is a rush of customers in the bank branch every day. After the crop insurance amount comes into the account of the farmers, the situation becomes so dire that there is no place to even set foot in the bank. Bank employees are also unable to express their grievances. The reason is that only four employees have been appointed to maintain and maintain 16500 accounts in the area. In such a situation, the work of 400 accounts per day is hardly possible. There is always the possibility of making errors.
Every farmer of the area is directly related to the District Co-operative Bank, in which the proper maintenance of the accounts of 16500 farmers of 93 villages of 11 societies is proving difficult for the bank employees.
Farmers’ pockets have been cut many times
Significantly, the activity of pickpockets is more in places where there is more crowd. The case is of this bank where on July 1, 2018, the pockets of two people were cut from the bank premises. The amount was stated to be around 70 thousand rupees. In view of this, the then branch manager was removed from the post. Cases of petty pocket-cutting are common. Along with this, recently, eight days ago, Lokendra Singh of village Manasa had lost more than the cashier’s hand of 50 thousand due to haste and rush. Lokendra returned the amount, otherwise the cashier would have to bear the damages.
high officials are ignoring
The higher officials are ignoring the problems of the farmers. From morning till evening, a hungry and thirsty farmer has to stand in a long line for information. Can’t speak due to lack of staff. This problem has persisted for the last four years. The bank should have at least 10 employees.
Here is the current status of the employees of the bank –

In the last four years, many applications have been given by me, but the higher officials have not yet arranged for the staff. Further application will be made and demand will be made. Efforts will be made to make available the staff keeping in view the inconvenience of the farmers.
