The series is scheduled to start from Thursday 25th January, the first Test of which will be played in Hyderabad. English captain Ben Stokes has announced his playing eleven for this match. England have dropped senior fast bowler James Anderson from their playing eleven for the first Test. Stokes has included two spinners in the final eleven considering the condition of the pitch. Also, Ben Fox has been given a chance in place of Harry Brook.
Talking about the playing eleven of England, Jack Crawley and Ben Duckett will start the innings. He will be followed by Ollie Pope and experienced batsman Joe Root. Jonny Bairstow will play at number five, who is expected to contribute as a batsman without the responsibility of wicketkeeping. After this, Captain Stokes will enter the field and will probably play at the sixth position. After him, wicketkeeper Ben Fox will be part of the lineup.
