What is Rajkumar Santoshi’s side?
Binesh Patel said, “The prosecution itself has admitted that a third party had collected the money. In return, the third party gave 11 checks worth Rs 10 lakh, about which Mr. Santoshi had no knowledge. The magistrate ignored this and decided against us. Therefore, changes have been made in the check based on false claims.” Actually, Rajkumar Santoshi was accused of check bounce of Rs 1 crore. The court had also issued summons to him in this case and also imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 each for bounced cheque. But the director did not take the summons, not only that he did not say anything, it also means that he did not even appear in the court.
