Subscription of Sovereign Gold Bond will be possible from 12th to 16th July

The fourth series of Sovereign Gold Bonds for the year 2021-22 is opening for subscription from July 12. According to RBI, if you apply for the bond online, you will get a discount of Rs 50 per gram. This means that for investors, the price of one gram of gold for gold bonds will be only Rs 4757.

If you also want to buy these bonds, then any bank, Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL), post office and recognized stock exchange, NSE and BSE will be sold. However, sovereign gold cannot be purchased through Small Finance Bank and Payment Bank. Under this scheme, any person can buy 4 kg gold bonds in a financial year. To invest in Sovereign Gold, at least one gram has to be invested.
