In the order issued by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Saturday, it has been said that there will be no penalty for not applying the mask. On the other hand, the amount of fine has been reduced for being caught without a mask in public places. For breaking the COVID protocol related to masks, instead of Rs 2000, now only Rs 500 will have to be paid.
According to the DDMA order, people will have to pay a fine for not wearing a mask in a public place. While there is no restriction on wearing masks in private vehicles. People can travel in their vehicles without masks. This order will come into effect from February 28. In this episode, the Delhi government has also issued an order on Saturday. It states that now it is not necessary for any passenger traveling in a private car to wear a mask. Whereas in the previous order, the Delhi government had said that the person traveling alone in the car will not have to wear a mask.
Earlier on Friday, a meeting of DDMA was held under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal. Amidst the decreasing cases of Corona, the authority had decided to remove all restrictions in Delhi. All restrictions will be lifted on Monday. Due to this, night curfew will not be imposed from the night of 27-28 February till further orders. At the same time, all modes of public transport will run at their full capacity. Standing in Delhi Metro and DTC buses will also be allowed.

The customers used to return home after the market was closed till 8 pm. Tony Chawla, secretary of the Janpath Market Traders Association, said Janpath Market hinges on tourists. This market remains buzzing with the arrival of tourists. Kamla Nagar Market Traders Association President Nitin Gupta also welcomed the move of the government. Said that this market located at North Delhi University will be buzzing again. DU students come to this market, so business will be back on track. The market is a big attraction for college students. There is also a lot of expectations from the budget of Delhi government. President of Kolhapur Road Association Praveen Divan said that the derailed economic system will be back on track. This step of the government will boost business.
Naresh Sambar, president of Jawahar Nagar Kamla Nagar Traders Association, said that the business class has suffered financial losses for the last two years. Traders have now got relief. The government also needs to take necessary steps to promote business. On the other hand, Shashi Mahajan, Joint Secretary, Confederation of All India Micro and Small Scale Industries North India has said that Delhi’s industries will now be able to do full production. Production was decreasing due to lack of sales in the retail market. With the opening of the school-college, the youth will also be involved in shopping. With the lifting of the ban, the workers will also come back to Delhi. Employment will also increase.
