The department issued a release stating that three two-storey buildings, five plots and cash movable and immovable assets of Rs 4.46 lakh were found with the ASI.
Vigilance found disproportionate assets worth Rs 2.24 crore from the possession of ASI Harekrishna Nayak, which is 440 per cent of his known sources of income. Vigilance said that a case has been registered against ASI Harekrishna Nayak under the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act and investigation has been started.
