A historic procession was taken out on the occasion of Hindu New Year in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This procession created an atmosphere of celebration and enthusiasm in the entire city. BJP leaders participated in it, but every effort was made to make the program not look political. All the squares and streets of the city were decorated with saffron flags and friaries. The event was organized by the Bharatiya New Year Samajotsav Samiti and the Municipal Corporation (BJP Board).
Coordination shown in BJP
According to Sanatan Dharma, this festival is a wish for uninterrupted life for the whole year by establishing a harmony with nature. This occasion gives the message of adjusting oneself to the changes taking place in nature as well as adapting oneself to them. This point also appeared in politics. In the procession and meeting, all the factions of BJP were seen marching together with enthusiasm. Since the BJP organization had no direct role in this program, it becomes even more special.
Congress sent message but did not celebrate
On the occasion of Navasamvatsar, Congress leaders and workers sent messages of Navsamvatsar to each other, but no program was ever organized in Udaipur city as a festival. Congress councilors were also not seen openly participating in this program. Earlier this program has been organized by the Municipal Corporation and Alok Sansthan under the New Year Committee.
The Janata Sena, which broke away from the BJP, also welcomed
Leaders like Randhir Singh Bhinder, former MLA of Vallabhnagar, Mangilal Joshi, a BJP stalwart, formed the Janata Sena after getting angry with city MLA Gulabchand Kataria. All these leaders welcomed and participated in the procession coming out on Nav Samvatsar along with the workers of Janata Sena.
BJP’s roots deepened in Mewar!
The grand event of this program proved that BJP’s roots are very deep in Mewar including Udaipur. It is difficult for the BJP to get a challenge from the Congress here. Of the eight seats in Udaipur district, the BJP currently has six seats in its account. Twenty years ago, this situation in politics was the opposite.
Shree Ram in the meeting everyone
The keynote speaker of the meeting, Sadhvi Ritambhara said – One slogan, one name Jai Shri Ram Jai Shri Ram… When we chant this slogan, then we should also resolve to imbibe the qualities of Ramji. Our Ram is of Kevat, of Bhils, Shabari is of Maiya, he is rich in undefeated virility. The limits are the best. He adopted the religion, we should also follow it. He said that the underprivileged of the country who are being lured, understand their duty towards them.
