Gwalior Court News: Gwalior, New Dunia Rep. The interviews are starting from February 28 to become a senior advocate in the High Court. This time a large number of applications were made from Gwalior to become a senior advocate, but only 12 lawyers of the city have been called for interview to Jabalpur. The High Court has held the interview for the first time. The interview will continue till the first week of March. Three senior judges will conduct interviews in Jabalpur. Seniority is accorded to the lawyers of the Bar by the Bench.
Till now, the Madhya Pradesh High Court used to decide the senior advocate on its own, but this time applications were invited to become a senior advocate. The names of the lawyers, whose applications had reached the court, were sorted out and uploaded on the website. It was expected that this time the position of seniority would be given, but this time the court has kept the interview. Three judges will interact with the lawyers. Discussions are being held in the corridors of the court regarding interviews for senior lawyers. There is also a qualification prescribed to become a Senior Advocate. He has a proforma, which has to be filled by the lawyer. In this proforma, the lawyer has to state his income. Also how junior are they, how much are their reportable judgments, how is their behavior. Along with this, the experience of advocacy also has to be told.

Advocates who are respected by the High Court as senior, they are not required to put their Vakalatnama in the case. In any case, the senior advocate can assist the court. In important cases, the High Court has to take the help of senior lawyers.
The design of his gown changes. They do not carry the gown themselves. A junior lives with him. There is a separate arrangement for senior lawyers in the High Court.
No matter how much practice a lawyer has, but he has not been given the title of seniority by the High Court, then he cannot write a senior. Senior advocates are called those who have been honored by the High Court.
