Gwalior fake hundi scandal: Jagendra Sen, Gwalior Naiduniya. police now It is trying to get the names of the helpers by interrogating Nathulal Gupta, father of Ashu Gupta, the main accused in the multi-crore hundi scandal. Police is trying to find out with whom Ashu has invested money. Nathulal Gupta has been caught by the police from Indore on Sunday night. Nathulal Gupta has been taken on one-day remand in the Hundi case. The wife of the accused is now on the target of the police.
Nathulal Gupta’s pulse is the seat of the hundi in the market. His son Ashu alias Ashish Gupta also started brokering hoodie with him. The traders of Dal Bazar, Naya Bazar, Lohia Bazar and Bullion Bazar had put crores of rupees on interest on Hundi through Ashu, due to which Ashish’s life was luxury for some time. Used to go for sightseeing in Dubai, Mumbai and Goa. Ashu’s sudden disappearance on January 28 caused a stir. The merchants running money on interest through Ashu were shocked. On February 2, the traders filed a case of fraud and fake counterfeiting against Ashu, his father, Nathulal Gupta, wife and servant. Upon investigation, it was found that the hundi, which was given by taking money from the traders, was fake. He stole crores of rupees of traders by writing hundi in the name of another trader. On pressurizing the traders, the SIT has once again become active to nab the accused directly and indirectly related to the hundi scandal. The Chamber of Commerce has announced a halt to business on March 12. The police is under pressure from the announcement of the traders’ agitation. It is worth mentioning that in this case the police have also registered a case against MCX business.
