Gwalior Samadhan Yojana 2022: Gwalior, Naiduniya Representative. The last date for depositing the dues under the resolution plan of the Central Region Electricity Distribution Company has also passed, but the defaulters have not shown interest in paying the bills. The bill filing date was February 28. Because of this, the electricity company did not cut the connections of these defaulters, but now the date has passed, due to which action will be taken against them. Tuesday is Shivratri holiday. Because of this the staff has not left today.
The government had postponed the bill of consumers with one kilo watt load till 31 August 2020 due to the infection of COVID-19. The arrears of 61 thousand 310 people were postponed in Gwalior city. There was an outstanding of Rs 165 crore on them, but the government had implemented a resolution plan to recover this due. 40 percent and interest was completely waived for those who deposited one lump sum. The person who deposited the bill in installments was waived off 25% of the bill and interest. The electricity company had registered in the city for the resolution of those whose bills were postponed. On February 28, given an opportunity to deposit the bill, but the defaulters did not submit the bill. This month, the power company will fulfill the target of revenue recovery from them only. Because they have huge dues, they were still left.
5 crore more came in February
– The electricity company was still disconnecting the connections of those people whose bill was postponed on 31 August 2020, even after that they were not paying the bills. The dues have been recovered by disconnecting their connections. 5 crore more has been received in February. 47 crore revenue was received in February last year. This time revenue of Rs 52 crore has come.
Under the solution, a campaign will be launched against the big defaulters first. After disconnecting their connections in March, guards will be installed on the pole, so that they cannot connect again.
Next month, the target of revenue recovery will be met by disconnecting the electricity company’s own connections.
