Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala Police has registered a case against a person for allegedly deliberately trying to tarnish the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi through social media posts ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Police gave information about this.
Police said that the accused has been identified as Nabeel Nasar. The Palod police here on Thursday registered a case against him based on a complaint by a BJP worker regarding his recent objectionable post on Facebook.

According to the FIR, the accused had given fake statements against Prime Minister Modi with the intention of tarnishing his image before the Lok Sabha elections.
Police said that a case has been registered against him under sections 153 and 171G of the Indian Penal Code and section 120 (O) of the Kerala Police Act.
