New Delhi. The week has started with bad news. A horrific road accident has taken place on the Pune-Bengaluru highway. The accident took place last night in which more than 50 people were injured. It is being told that the uncontrollable truck blew up 48 vehicles one after the other on the highway. The truck was running at a high speed on the Belgaum highway. The people injured in the accident were admitted to a nearby hospital. After the accident, there was a long jam on the highway. The police had to struggle for many hours to remove it. Pune Fire Brigade and Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) team reached the spot and took charge.
Big accident happened due to truck
It is being told that the brakes of the truck had failed and due to which the vehicles running behind the truck collided with each other. After which oil spilled on the road and vehicles coming from behind at high speed lost their balance and collided one after the other. It is a matter of pride that people have only been injured in the accident, there is no news of any loss of life or property. The accident happened around eight and nine o’clock in the late night. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police and the rescue team took the front and worked to take the injured to the hospital.

Pune’s BJP MLA Siddharth Shirole has expressed grief by tweeting on this horrific accident. He wrote – The accident on the Pune-Bengaluru highway is unfortunate. Please do not share the photos related to the accident on social media. Rescue and rescue work is going on at the incident site. Please support. Please inform that the treatment of the injured is going on at Mangeshkar and Navale Hospital. So far the truck driver has not been arrested in the case as he is being treated.
